Wether your into liquid, stick, strobe or good old fashioned powder – heres a run down on some of my Favourite highlighting products for different occasions….
BEST FOR: QUICK AND EASY
Benefit’s Watts up –
This is great for ease of use, the colour is great for both fair and tanned skin tones as its not too bronze, not too pinky. (available from Benefit US , Benefit Uk )
BEST FOR: SOMETHING FOR ALL SKIN TONES
Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow kits:
Gleam ( pink tones lovers) and That Glow (golden toned fans), both highly pigmented powders that sit amazingly over a polished face! I get mine from Sephora
BEST FOR: Strobers
MAC Strobe cream (£24.50) // Dupe – Freedom Strobe cream (£8.00)
These products are much alike and great for splurges or savers, use underneath or mixed with cream and liquid foundations for a dewey highlighted look.
BEST FOR: HARDCORE HIGHLIGHTS
KIKO water eyeshadow #208
This is great as you can use this dry, or wet for a concentrated highlight. Very similar to the loved and lost MAC’S Whisper of gilt highlighter. Below I’ve used a small amount but this can be used very strongly, very quickly by using wet.
BEST FOR: ALL OVER GLOW
Stila Shimmer kitten £15.00 and Collection Bronze Glow mosaic £2.99
Perfect for using all over the face for general radiance, but can easily be built up on the cheekbones!
BEST FOR: SUMMER LIGHT GLOW
Model Co Shimmer whip £22.00 is great for the all over general glowy, summer, beachy bronze look. Not too heavy so can be worn with moisturiser or foundations, this product is a must for summer months! Below five concentrated the product quite a lot and paired it with bronzy shadows, but can easily be worn in a more paired down look!
