Face Mask Heros

hydro 120 hour mask review

Everyone has a different face mask they like, a different texture, a different formulation and a different desire of what you want it to do to the face.

Here I’m going to discuss three of my favourite formations this season (beside’s Mud masks…. because everyone loves a mud mask)

Bliss mask a-‘peel’ radiance revealing rubberising mask

This mask has got to be up there with one of the strangest formulations of all time. It works, its amazing, its SO SATISFYING to pull off the face….but it is SO ODD. When I say odd, I mean like nothing I’ve tried before, in a good way. So you get this little pot and you add in water….you mix it up and you apply to the face. You leave to to dry, then everyones favourite bit, you peeeeeeeel off. Yes.

Some important things to add. Once mixed, Get this on the face ASAP… It doesn’t mess around. The first time I applied it I was leisurely applying it to my face, by the time I had reached my nose it was almost set in the pot. So I applied extra water, which just made the situation worse and completely set it.

As this is like rubber, once its taken off your skin feels sooooo soft and most importantly radiant. Harnessing the powers of Vitamin C, Bilberry and Seaweed Extract, It does exactly as it says it does and gives the skin a glow!

Beauty Pro Collagen masks

The trendiest of the face masks of late thanks to Korean Beauty, I am numero uno fan of the face sheet. If you have been hiding under a rock and have never heard of these, they are IT. Saturated in amazing ‘essence’, the skin drinks it up while not drying out due to the sheet being in place. You can look like a bit of a cheap halloween costume, but your skin will thank you for it. My of the minute fav’s are the Beauty Pro ones, which are collagen masks.Utilising marine collagen, combined with key vitamins, herbs and botanicals, so great on the skin and also come in handy little under eye ones!

Hydro Face Mask – Rose of Jericho

A bit like the sheet mask, but this ones made of Hydro gel, which feels SO SO weird on the face but in a really good way. The only think I can liken it to, is getting the coconut jelly flesh from a young, fresh coconut and putting it on your face. ( DIY Face mask lovers I KNOW what your thinking, but using this will be a lot less messy than trying to balance coconut flesh to on your cheeks!)

The Hydro Face Mask has been designed to provide hydration and moisture retention in the skin. The mask contains the patented AMF (Artificial Moisturising Factor) which enhances the skin’s ability to retain moisture. This clever little thing, AMF has been clinically proven to keep the skin hydrated for up to 120 hours. It also contains extracts from the Rose of Jericho, which everyone knows has great moisturising and soothing benefits.

Most importantly, did it give me 120 hours of hydration…..it actually DID….and I loved every single hour of it.
